Quoting Preferences

Quoting Preferences are your starting point for new quotes. You set the coverages you want once, per state, and every new quote in that state opens with those coverages already filled in. That saves you from picking them from scratch each time.

Open Quoting Preferences

1. Once logged into Quotamation, click Settings on the panel on the left side of the screen
2. Under Agency Settings, click Quoting Preferences

You'll see two options, Auto Quotes and Home Quotes. You set each one on its own.

Set your Auto defaults

1. Click Auto Quotes
2. Pick a state from the dropdown at the top. You set coverages one state at a time
3. Choose your default coverages for that state, and set your default Vehicle Details
4. Click Save Changes in the top right. It switches to Saved once it's done
5. Repeat for each state you write business in

Set your Home defaults

1. Go back to Quoting Preferences and click Home Quotes
2. Pick a state from the dropdown at the top
3. Choose your default coverages for that state
4. Click Save Changes in the top right
5. Repeat for each state you write business in

Quoting Preferences live under Agency Settings, so they apply to your whole agency. If you don't see Agency Settings, you're set up as a regular user, and an admin can update these for you.
