Creating Prospects

Add new prospects to your pipeline.

Prospects are the people you're working to win as clients. Here's how to add one and where to find it afterward.

Add a prospect

  1. In the left menu, go to Prospects and click Overview
  2. Click Add Prospect in the top right
  3. Fill in their details. First Name, Last Name, and Email are required, and the rest is optional:
    • Date of Birth, Phone Number, and Address to Insure
    • Preferred Contact Method (Phone, Text, or Email)
    • Interested Lines of Business (Home, Auto, and more)
    • Status (new prospects start at Prospecting)
    • Agent (defaults to you)
    • Lead Source, where the prospect came from. Pick an existing one, or click Add lead source to create a new one without leaving the form
    • Notes
  4. Click Add Prospect to save

Your new prospect shows up in the Prospecting column on the Overview board.

Work your prospects from the board

The Overview is a board with four columns: Prospecting, Quoting, Won, and Lost. Drag a card from one column to another to update where someone is in your pipeline.

Each card also gives you a few quick actions:

  • CTE logs a contact attempt (a call, text, or email)
  • Note adds a note to the prospect
  • New Quote starts a quote with the prospect's details already filled in
