Tracking Progress

Monitor progress toward your goals.

Once your goals are set, Quotamation keeps a running tally of where you and your team stand. Here's how to follow along and log the work you've done.

The Goals views

In the left menu, the Goals section has a few views:

  • Daily View shows today's progress at a glance
  • Events is the full history of everything that's been logged
  • Trends shows progress over time with charts
  • Carriers breaks your premium down by carrier

Read your progress at a glance

Each goal shows up as a card with your current total and your target. A small colored dot tells you how you're pacing against the time left in the period:

  • Green means you're on pace or ahead
  • Orange means you're a little behind
  • Red means you're well behind
  • Grey means there's no target set, or it's outside working hours

Hover over the dot to see how far through the period you are and how much of the goal you've reached. Cards also show a leaderboard so you can see who's leading on each goal.

The Daily View has a fullscreen button if you'd like to put it up on a screen for the whole office, plus a live feed that calls out new activity as it happens.

Log a goal event

A goal event is a single piece of activity you log toward a goal, like a new policy's premium or a round of calls.

  1. From any Goals view, click Add Event
  2. Choose the goal you're logging for
  3. Fill in the details, then click Add

What you fill in depends on the goal:

  • Premium and Rewrite Premium ask for the client, the type of policy, the carrier, the premium amount, and the effective date
  • New HH Quote lets you add one or more clients with the type of quote for each
  • CTE (call, text, email) lets you log a contact for one or more clients at once
  • Referral Partner Touches lets you log a touch for one or more lead sources
  • Custom goals ask for an amount and any notes

Review and fix past events

Open Events to see everything that's been logged. You can filter by date range, goal, agent, and client. To change or remove an event, click its row, make your edits, and save, or click Delete.

Open Trends to see how progress has built up over a day, week, month, or year. Pick a timeframe, and a specific agent if you want. You'll get a chart of progress against the target line, plus a table comparing everyone on the team.
